High 5 Netball – Virtual Competition

A series of challenges were set that included passing, shooting and moving that pupils either carried out at home during lockdown or in school.  The top scores from each class were combined to make a school score and the following schools came out as winners:

Year 3&4                                                                              Year 5&6

1 – Read St Johns   Year 3                                                1 – St John with St Augustine's Year 5

2 – St John with St Augustine Year 3                             2 - Brookside Year 6

3 – Brookside Year 4                                                         3 - Peel Park - Year 6

Tag Rugby Individual Competition:

Again a series of challenges but this time it was an individual competition.  Pupils practiced throwing, running and scoring tries to score as many points as possible.

2 – Hayden, Read St Johns    68 points                         2 - Darci, St Johns Great Harwood – 68

3 -  Kaysen 67, Jake  67 both Read St Johns                 3 - Sammi,  St Johns Great Harwood – 66 

Virtual Dance Competition:

Pupils composed a dance of their choice to set music.
