Design a Game Competition

In our build up to the Level Three Virtual School Games Day, schools were set the challenge of designing their own games to be played on that day.  Pupils designed their games and whole classes voted on which games they liked the best in order to find one to represent their class.  This game was then forwarded as the game for their school and was judged by an independent judging panel to decide on the overall winner.

We had lots of entries but after a great deal of deliberation (and trying out the games which was great fun!) a winning game was selected for each borough.  The winning game for Hyndburn was designed by Emma and Isabelle from All Saints Primary school and the winning game from the Ribble Valley was designed by Leonie from St Leonards.  The pupils were awarded a prize each and the games formed part of the format of the school games day.
