Hyndburn Sportshall Athletics Event 1

This year we had 5 schools enter one of our Hyndburn sportshall athletics events at St Christophers High School. With the excellent help from their sports leaders the event was a massive success and lots of talent was displayed. The cheers and chants were loud as each team supported their runners from the first half of the event. The second round of the event meant each child took part in 2 field events. Once all the points had been added up, we finished off with the awards for the top 3 schools. With just 34 points between 1st and 3rd place, taking bronze home was Mount Pleasant, taking home silver was St Bartholomew's and winning the Hyndburn Event 1 was Peel Park. Well Done to all schools that took part, you made the event a fantastic atmosphere.
