Year 3 & 4 Gymnastics Competition

This week we held our annual Year 3 & 4 Gymnastics competition at The Hollins. 6 teams entered the event, each student taking part in a vault & floor routine as part of a Key Steps Competition. All the gymnastics came prepared and well-practised demonstrating elegance and beautiful control. Once completed, the results of each student were added up to create an overall team score for each school team. The scores were extremely close but the overall winners with 5 points clear were the Peel Park A team, then with just 0.4 points between Peel Park B and Baxenden. Peel Park B team came away in 2^nd place and Baxenden placed 3^rd. St Hubert’s came a very close 4^th place, congratulations to all students that took part. It was a pleasure to judge and thank you for all the time you took to practice your routines.
