This afternoon, we kicked off our first indoor athletics event of the year at Oakhill! 
We were thrilled to welcome 8 schools, each bringing a team of 6 girls and 6 boys.
The children participated in 2 field and 2 track events, and for many of our Year 3 & 4 participants, it was their first time experiencing an event like this. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and how much they enjoyed the competitive atmosphere! 
Every child earned points for their efforts, and the total team scores were calculated. A huge congratulations to our top 3 teams:
3rd Place: Huncoat – 266 points
2nd Place: Mount Pleasant – 304 points
1st Place: Baxenden St. John's – 342 points
