KS1 Kurling Challenge Success!
Last night, we hosted our second KS1 Kurling Challenge at Accrington Academy, and what an amazing evening it was!
14 teams competed across two groups, many of whom were playing for their school teams for the very first time. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship on display!
A huge thank you to the brilliant sports leaders from Accrington Academy who did a fantastic job overseeing and scoring the matches.
After some exciting games, the top two teams from each group battled it out in the semi-finals. The final results were:
1st Place: St John's, Great Harwood St John’s CofE Primary School
2nd Place: St Wulstans R.C. Primary
3rd Place: St Oswald's R.C. Primary and Nursery School
4th Place: St John's, Great Harwood (second team!)
Congratulations to all the teams who took part—you’ve done your schools proud!
