The last event of the term was the Santa Dash, we had nearly 400 students attend the event at Wilsons Playing Fields. This event was a get involved and have fun type of event. Children from KS2 were invited to take part in a Santa dash around the athletics track, learn a dance to the famous Christmas Song ‘All I want for Christmas’ & sing Christmas carols along with the choir. The children had so much fun, those that displayed effort and enthusiasm were given some lovely Reindeer and Santa medals, but all went away with a certificate and a candy cane for their efforts. This event would not be possible without the assistance of the Accrington Academy Sports Leaders, Vocal Adrenaline Choir & the BTEC Dancers all again from Accrington Academy.
