Ribble Valley Animal Olympics

It was the turn of the Ribble Valley schools to take part in the Animal Olympics today. Bad weather and soggy fields meant that we moved inside which made for an electric atmosphere. 15 schools took it in turns to compete in a number of animal themed activities such as a "Cheetah run" or an "elephant dribble" in order to score as many points as possible for their school. We had teams from Balderstone Primary School, Oakhill,  Simonstone, Whalley, St Josephs Hurst Green, Clitheroe St James, St Marys Osbaldeston, Waddington and West Bradford,Salesbury and Whiteash Primary School. Every single team member did themselves proud but in the end Oakhill A were in first place, Whalley were in second place and Balderstone B were third.
