What an incredible turnout for our Year 1 & 2 Christmas Kurling event!
A huge thank you to the amazing sports leaders from The Hyndburn Academy for hosting and leading the day with such expertise. 
With 16 teams taking part, this event was a first for many of the children representing their schools — and the atmosphere was absolutely electric! 
Teams competed in groups of 8, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-finals. The matchups were intense: Mount Pleasant Primary School Blue faced Gisburn Primary School Yellow in one semi-final, while Mount Pleasant Red went head-to-head with Saint Mary’s RC Primary School, Oswaldtwistle Blue in the other.
After a thrilling set of games, it was St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle Blue and Gisburn Yellow who battled it out in the finals, while both Mount Pleasant teams competed for third place medals.
