Two Glow Dodgeball Event at Oakhill School – January 2025

This morning, Oakhill School hosted two thrilling Glow Dodgeball events, with a focus on inclusion, sportsmanship, and fair play.

The first event featured 10 teams competing in two group stages. The atmosphere was electric, with fast-paced and exciting matches that kept everyone on their toes. The second group, with 6 teams, enjoyed slightly longer games, but the energy and enthusiasm remained high throughout.

What set this event apart was the emphasis on sporting values. Teams were not only competing for victory, but also for points based on honesty, good sportsmanship, and fair play. This made for an event that was as much about character as it was about skill.

Results:

Second Place: Chatburn, St James B, and Whiteash A

Winners: Gisburn B and Whiteash B

Both Gisburn B and Whiteash B teams demonstrated exceptional fair play and honesty throughout the event, truly deserving of their medals.

A big thank you to Oakhill School for hosting, and to all the teachers and students who participated. Your efforts and positive attitudes helped make the day a memorable one!
